Before Garden Revival, starting in 2023, some of our team used to gather monthly in homes throughout north Jersey to enter into the presence of God, give Him the honor and glory He deserves, and intercede for our campuses, workplaces, Churches, and families.

Then these same intimate worship nights were brought to homes at the Jersey shore. This was around the time the Garden Revival was born. We began to see our generation and that of our parents growing hungry for Jesus and only Him - no added performance or fluff. In the summer of 2025, we grew so quickly that our homes could no longer hold the amount of people who wanted to attend! We needed to set RSVP caps on our events, which finally led to where we are now - at St. Mary Mother of God in Middletown, New Jersey. Prayer Rooms are now our main monthly event, and the center of everything we will do to be God's laborers for revival in New Jersey.

Prayer Room is basically what you may already know as a prayer gathering or a worship night, but more specifically focused on ministering to the heart of God and giving Him what He is due. At the Garden Revival, we often will follow the worship format of TWR (Thanksgiving, Worship, and Response), but what is most important is that the Holy Spirit is the main "worship leader", first highlighting (a) specific characteristic(s) of God or Word from Scripture, then leading the congregation to praise Him by focusing on that specific quality or Word. Prayer Room may look like a crowd of people dancing undignified like David (2 Samuel 6:14) for joy of the Lord, kneeling and prostrating low at the heaviness of His presence (Revelation 7:11), or perhaps a combination of the two. Someone will often give a word or teaching on the Lord or living a life for Him. There will also sometimes be opportunity for prayer ministry. At the end of the day, expect to be given the space and freedom to encounter Jesus and see Him rightly with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who desire the same thing.
